- Is it possible to make a scooter look like a Cafe Racer via Body Kit?
I've just got my M2, and am well on my way to a full motorcycle licence, which means I've recently been looking into bikes and scooters that are within my price range and preferred performance. However, I've recently realized that not only can I not afford anything above a scooter, I probably couldn't handle anything with more power than a scooter. Normally I wouldn't care, but people have been telling me recently about the...let's call it "bias" against scooters, with my own father in particular calling me a Nancy Boy for even considering it (he's a major motorcycle enthusiast and a general psycho on the road). As such, I've resolved to try and track down some kind of kit that would transform your standard, boring-old scooter into (albeit superficially) a respectable looking motorcycle. Unfortunately, I've been having little to no luck in my search, which begs the question: Do kits designed to make scooters look like bikes even exist? So there you have it folks. If you have any information on this matter, please forward it to me. If not, thank you for your time anyway. (P.S. - The reason why I mention a Cafe Racer is because I actually prefer that style of bike, aesthetically at least, over your more flashy choppers and street bikes. As such, a kit that would take the shape of a Cafe Racer, such as the Vincent Black Shadow or BSA Lightning, would be ideal, though not necessary.)
A dude, just ride the scooter and forget about a kit. Save the money for a 'proper' motorcycle when you are ready. also, how about an older 250cc cruiser? Sometimes, you could find a honda rebel for cheap. for like 800-1500 bux I checked craigslist and found 2 for like 800 bux.
