- Who made the chopper in the movie "Ghost Rider"?
The motorcycle that is ridden with the flames around the tires, skull in front, and chain to hold the wheels in.
A Petrucelli and his crew made them. There are actually seven different bikes used during filming, each doing a different thing. He is big into harleys and owns his own harley shop.

- What would the price range start at, for a "hubless" or "Orbital" wheeled motorcycle?
I am considering purchasing a custom chopper in about two years, and in my mind, the coolest feature to come out on them is these wheels that are hollow, I've even seen picture of bikes that feature a hubless front wheel as well, and a friction drive for the rear (so there's no chain wrapping around the hub). I believe Billy Lane is the name that's famous for these bikes. Would a bike like that possibly be under $50,000? As i have never seen one on eBay, i have no clue what the price range is on these bikes. It would probably not be something found on showroom floors even in the custom shops, instead probably only being built to order, money up front. Which should not be any problem for me. Could you give me links to websites of places that are building these?
A OK how about a helpful answer... Billy Lane only built his fifth hubless rear bike in 2006. A bike from him will NOT be 50,000.00. Moreover he has been fighting a dui/manslaughter charge since then and may well be in jail when you want a bike. I have never seen a hubless front, but based on the engineering of the rear it is not practical (ridable a lot). There was bad blood between Amen Cycles in Tenn. and Lane as the Amen guy claims the original hubless wheel was his. I don't know if he still builds or not but still... not practical. A custom can be a fine bike, a daily driver, and very reliable depending on who builds it and how RADICAL (again, not practicle) you want it. Reasonable rake and stretch, NOT rigid unless well sprung seat, and a performance motor that won't eat batteries and bust starters. All very doable but YOU must do your homework and not just go for cool. My shops philosophy is that you ought to be able to ride something that cost 30 to 50 grand- anywhere a stock bike goes and without much more hassle.
