- Motorcycle Handle bars and Bicycle Handlebars?
What's the difference between the two other than the price. I've got an old import bobber/chopper that have 7/8" handlebars. What's the difference between 7/8" ape hanger motorcycle handlebars and 7/8" bicycle handlebars. I mean seriously they look the same. P.S. I don't care about the hiding the wires crap, I ride a real bike so all the goodies hang out. Thanks for the comments. xyz: you must not look into bobbers or know what they are otherwise you would know that between 70-80% of the extra electronics in most bobbers such as.........turn signals, horn, electric starter, handle bar switches/controls, etc are all BOBBED because they are only necessities to lazy people. A The difference is the thickness of the metal tubing used. Motorcycle handlebars are built to withstand the vibration of the engine and rigors of the road. While the two may look the same, installing bicycle handlebars on a motorcycle will result in your losing control of your motorcycle when the metal tubing of bicycle handlebars fail.

What kind of motorcycle is the one that is like a cruiser but the shape of the motorcycle like it's high at the handle bars than like the rest of the motorcycle slopes down and the saddle bags are low! It's not a chopper! I know this is a very bad description but I saw it on the road and thought it looked awesome! I know the description was really bad, I am sorry that's the best I could remember it! But it had one of those hard case saddle bags that went back farther than the back wheel
